The Los Angeles Lakers, in fifth place, are one game behind Denver, while the Memphis Grizzlies are only 0.5 games behind them.
To put it briefly, the West will be a photo finish.
There are some significant absences for the Bucks. Due to a blood clot in his right leg caused by deep vein thrombosis, Milwaukee confirmed late Tuesday that All-Star guard Damian Lillard would be sidelined for a considerable amount of time. Giannis Antetokounmpo, their other All-Star and previous MVP, will also miss Wednesday’s game due to a sprained left foot.
