Traffic Advisory Ahead of The RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon

More than 28,000 runners will take to the streets of Brooklyn for the 43rd RBC Brooklyn Half on Saturday, May 17. Brooklyn drivers need to be alert for numerous no-parking zones and street closures.

More than 28,000 runners will take to the streets of Brooklyn for the 43rd RBC Brooklyn Half on Saturday, May 17.

Hosted by New York Road Runners,the 13.1-mile race that runs from Prospect Park to the Coney Island boardwalk is the original, premier running event in Brooklyn and one of the largest and most anticipated half marathons in the country.

In addition to the adult half marathon, more than 1,000 kids will participate in free dashes and races on Ocean Parkway, near mile 12 of the adult race, as part of the Boardwalk Kids Run.
